Kristin Johnson founded Boston Political Education in 2014 to cover the intersections of education and politics in Boston and beyond. Using data driven research and collaborating with co-authors and local experts, we strive to inform policymakers and voters about the issues that matter most in local politics.
In 2018, Boston Political Education expanded to include topics beyond education. Through the lens of social, racial and economic justice, we hope to provide readers with the information they need to elect leaders who share our common values.
Kristin was a former photojournalist for The Boston Phoenix, Stuff@Night and the Jamaica Plain Gazette.
